    Randomly, when trying to enter debug mode TWS will display the wait dialog indefinitely and never actually enter debug mode. I've let it run for 30-60 minutes and it never actually enters debug mode. This happens about half of the time when I try to use the debugging feature.

      Hi,

      Thank you for your bug report.

      The issue can be reproduced when the connection between Salesforce and TWs is broken or Salesforce has returned empty answer to the IDE.

      I kindly ask you to follow the next steps to detect the reason for this issue:

      • please open your Test Results panel, expand your project and scroll to the top of all the results;
      • open the Logs panel and expand your project here also, and scroll to the top of all the files;
      • start debugging and verify if the test is running;
      • please verify if the downloaded log related to the testrun appears in the Logs panel.

      If the test isn't run, please click 'Run Tests' in the Test Result panel. Does the testrun appear in the Test result panel in this case?

      We will appreciate your help in the investigation process greatly.

      Thank you,

      Kate

          Greetings,

          Thank you for your post.

          I kindly ask you to answer the next questions to help us in the investigation process related to your issue:

          • Is the Debugging session started for you?
          • Is your cursor located on the first string after opening Debug mode?
          • What type of the breakpoint do you have? The breakpoint can be enabled (the red point), disabled (the white point), or invalid (the point with an exclamation mark).

          We appreciate your help.

          Thank you,

          Kate
