How can i disable code autocomplete ? At times it is not helpfull at all, as it keep replacing the variable i want to use with the one it chooses. Thus i have to always correct the variable it proposes before i can continue working. It can be very harassing at time. i think that the solution is not to force a replace but just propose a variable. Even proposing solution at times make typing cumbersome as there is a lag when typing, as the IDE has to search for a variable based on the keyup event or something like this. It is possible to disable this feature in the setting ?

Hi Vanessen,
Of course, this is possible.
Please use the next way: Main Menu -> Tools -> Options -> Text Editor -> Code Assistance.
There you will see the option for the Code Completion.
You can disable the necessary one:
- Show Code Completion when typing;
- Preselect Completions in Completion List.
I kindly ask you to inform us if these actions help to solve your issue.
Thank you,
Kate

Hi Vanessen,
We have some news for you.
The newly released version of The Welkin Suite includes the great refactoring on the Code Assistance functionality.
As a result, the behaviour of the Code Completion option is changed.
Now this is more helpful for you. The incorrect replacing your variables doesn't happen.
We will be glad to hear your feedback about this if you use the Code Completion functionality.
Best Regards,
Kate
