I'm using Beta 5 of TWS for Mac. Lightning events are listed under Aura Definition Bundle when I go to choose components for a new project, but they don't seem to be actually downloaded. I don't see them anywhere once the project downloads. I see all the other components, but not events.
Is this a known bug?

Thank you for your contacting us with this question.
Currently, The Welkin Suite for Mac doesn't support Lightning Events, as Interfaces and Tokens also. This is why these files are not downloaded and they are absent in the Project Metadata Components.
The support for Aura Event, Token, and Interface will be implemented in one of the nearest versions of the IDE.
