    I have 2 issues while doing LWC development:

    1) when deploying a new LWC, it deploys all files correctly (appears to anyway), but then removes all lines from the .js file.  The other files (.html and .js-meta.xml) are not modified.

    2) when trying to update an existing LWC, the deploy fails in salesforce with this error - UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION: An unexpected error occurred.  No other details are given and I cannot find any other info detailing what might be wrong.  If I delete the existing LWC and re-create it with the updated content, it deploys fine.


    I believe I am on the latest release  - Bloom R32, Version 1.29.1.4

      Hi Randy.


      Thank you for your post.

      I kindly ask you to reproduce these issues one more time and please send us a bug report with attached log files directly from the IDE - you can find this functionality in the menu Help -> Report a Bug, please specify your email and enable the 'Attach Log File' checkbox.


      This way we would receive your TWS log files which could help us to find a reason for the error.
