    Hi,

First of all thank you very much for providing and maintening this free IDE.

I wanted to report a simple but very very annoying issue on the last version 0.26.7.

When trying to copy paste some attribute or whatever inside an xml (a lightniing component ".cmp") in my case, welkins automaticaly modify the capitalisation. This has consequence because in lightning/aura, the attribute are case sensitive so its makes all the component doesnt work anymore. I spend 2 hours to find that..

Could you provide a quick small fix for this ?

    Thanks & regards.

PS: Oh and i saw there are a lot of text editor option but when desactivating them, there is no effect.

I think by default, welkins should not modify any sensitivity

      Hi,

Thank you for your feedback about the IDE and for your bug report.

Our team has been faced with both of these issues.

We will fix the case of the changing the register during the copy/paste in the code. The ability to disable the auto-formatting in the xml-editor will be fixed also.

Currently I cannot tell you when we will be able to make these fixes.

I'll keep you updated about the solving these cases.

      Thank you,

      Kate

Just want to second this as being a real issue.

It also seems to happen sometimes when reloading a file after saving to SF. Probably the same cause but just wanted to mention it as that seems to be the specific case that is a problem for me.

I've wasted a bunch of time trying to track down issues that were working and now aren't but "nothing changed!"

        Thanks,

        Uzzi

          Hi Uzzi,

          Thank you for your comment.

The file is reloaded after saving on SF and it is changed according to the SF formatting rules.

Anyway, I've added this detail to our investigation process.

We will keep you updated about any results of this investigation.

          Regards,

          Kate

Yes, this is an infuriating default behavior. I have lost many hours debugging the Red Herrings this has sent me after.

You can turn it off in the Options. Go to Tools -> Options -> Text Editor -> HTML -> Advanced and set "Format on past" to False

              Hi,

Thank you for your comment with the workaround.

This really can be helpful till we fix the issue related to the case sensitive during the 'copy/paste' option.

              Best Regards,

              Kate
