Hi,
I want to launch a particular test method, but I'm not seeing it in the list of test methods to run. I did refresh (in the test methods menu), but it didn't help.

Hi Ilan,
Thank you for your bug report.
I kindly ask you to create a new TWS project related to the same organization, and please check if you can find the necessary test method in the 'Run Tests' wizard right after the project creation.
If the test method is present there, please click the 'Refresh' and check if this test method would be available for your after this.
In the case, when the test method is absent, please follow the next steps:
- please execute the following query in the Developer Console on your organization (please also check the “Use Tooling API” there):
select Id, Name, NamespacePrefix, SymbolTable from ApexClass; - check if you can see the SymbolTable data for the test that is not available in the list;
- if there’s no information for them – you can try executing the “Compile All Classes” action in the org (Setup -> Apex Classes), so Salesforce will refresh the data.
Please let me know if this would help and if you can see the test method after refreshing the list of tests in the Run Tests wizard.
In general, the IDE get the information about tests and test methods from your organization in 2 stages:
- First of all, when you create a new project, TWS parser analyzes your files and gets all the tests from your current project that are local ones.
- When you refresh the list of tests or re-open a project, we send a request to a related organization and this way the IDE gets a list directly from your org.
