Welkin crashes when org is down and project uses oauth

    I have a Welkin project that is using Oauth and usually asks for authentication shortly after I load it up each time. Today, the project would open, and TWS would immediately crash just as my code loaded. I troubleshot this for a while; reinstalled Welkin, repaired .net, updated .net, tried everything I could think of but it kept crashing.

    I loaded up another project and it worked fine.

    I then learned that the sandbox org my first project was in was a sandbox that was completely down at Salesforce today (and still remains down at the time of this post).

    It seems that if an environment is fully down, Welkin will crash at the point where the project usually asks for an oauth reauthentication.

    I'm not sure how much longer it will be down for today, but happy to provide any details while I can before they have the org back online again!

      Hi Steve,


      Thank you for contacting us with this.

      We are aware of this issue and our developers have solved it - we are going to include their solution to the nearest version of The Welkin Suite Bloom.

      A reason for this is related to a re-authorize functionality in the IDE when an organization related to TWS project is locked out.


      You can send us a bug report directly from the IDE with attached log files so that we could ensure that you are faced exactly with the issue that we have worked on. For this, please navigate to a menu Help -> Report a Bug, describe the issue or out link to this topic, specify your email address, and enable an 'Attach Log File' checkbox.

      Also, you can check if the issue would be reproduced in the updated version of TWS - it will be available the nearest days, and let us know if this would happen again.
