    Is there anyway to display some kind of warning before Building that files will be updated in Salesforce???

      Hi Andrew,


      Thank you for this post.

      May I please clarify with you if you want to get the message that your files will be updated of SF each time when you are using the Build option?


      In order for us to understand you better, can you please explain me why do you need this warning?

      The Build option means exactly the updating of SF content with changes that you've made locally. 

       
      If you want to see which files are changed and are going to be built, you can use the 'Pending changes' list. You can open it in the Main Menu -> View -> Pending Changes. If you don't want to update some files you can discard the changes for these files here.

      In addition, this option works for the updating of classes, components, triggers, pages, static resources and Lightning components and applications. All other changed files should be Deployed to be updated on SF (Main Menu -> Build -> Deploy objects).
