    Hi TWS,

    A feature that I personally would like is the "Find all usages". This is extremely helpful when searching for a specific field of an object, or the object it self. At the moment the only way to find a field name is by making a search in the entire solution. However if you have several fields with the same name this wont work.. 

    I know that this is probably a bigger implementation in terms of parsing and context awareness, but this is really something that is important.

      Thank you for the request.

      You are right - 'Find all usages' is one of the very important features for better and faster navigation in the code.

      It is currently in our roadmap and we plan to implement it within a couple releases :)

          Thank you for your post.

          I'm happy to inform that our developers are already working on the 'Find all usages' functionality and we will release it in one of the nearest versions of The Welkin Suite.


          I'll let you know when you will be able to use this feature in the IDE.

              Hi Swagat,


              Thank you for your question.


              In the recent version of the IDE we have released the Field Usage Report functionality that could help you for searching your objects' fields.

              In the next TWS release, we are going to roll-out Find usages functionality for Apex and we'll for sure add fields usage within apex to the report at the same time.


              Also, we will extend the Field Usage Report with additional items in some time.

                I'm happy to inform you that recently we released The Welkin Suite Bloom R18 for Windows and Blaze R12 for Mac where you can find the 'Find all usages' functionality!
