I frequently find myself adding Ids to the SOQL editor. Like "and OwnerId = '0050000000xxxxx'" with my user id to tell it I only want records that I own.
It would be a nice feature (not huge but nice) if I could put "and OwnerId = :userId" or something similar and have TWS replace that with whatever the current user Id is before it sends the SOQL off to Salesforce.

Thank you for your feature request - this looks interesting.
I've added an appropriate ticket so that our team could consider what we can do for this.
I'm not sure that we will have an ability to work on this request the nearest months, however, I'll keep you updated on our progress if we start to work on this.
