Apex Scheduled jobs

Apex Scheduled jobs

Schedule Apex jobs right from the IDE and automatically run them as often as you need! With the ability to start and monitor scheduled jobs in The Welkin Suite, this is no longer rocket science.

Get a clear map of the field usage in your project with the Field Usage Report. The Welkin Suite gives you an ability to track all places where a certain field is used. Explore all the possible side-effects of some changes to a field or quickly understand some logic or processes that happen in an organization. The Field Usage Report presents all the usages in a tree view by objects or types that you can explore on deeper levels with just one click. See all the details of a concrete field's appearance on one screen, and navigate to the editor to make the necessary changes if needed.

Field Usage Report

The Welkin Suite helps you to manage any type of scheduled Apex jobs, whether they are designed for long-running periodic processes, some short-running processes that need to happen very often, or just even in order to check on something. You can easily configure the job's details, such as a name, an executed Apex class, and a preferred start time, set the schedule of when to run, and all of these without even touching the code! In addition, you have an ability to manage all of the scheduled jobs in a separate panel.

sObjects Field Level Security

sObjects Field Level Security

The Welkin Suite's sObject editor allows you to review all of the fields of the object, create new fields and manage their visibility - all within the frame of TWS IDE. The permissions for the fields' visibility can be set on the Fields Level Security tab.

Get everything you need for managing objects in one tool and forget about switching to another application with a cozy Expression editor for Error Condition Formulas in Validation Rules, and Formula values in Workflow Rules. No additional application is needed — just click on the appropriate button and modify the expression as you need. The editor provides you with Code Completion options, such as basic syntax highlighting and a wide completion list, so you can save a lot of time, especially if your expressions are complex, and if they include a lot of conditions.

This tab provides the table with the data on all the fields, profiles, and their settings related to the object that you have opened. All of this information is retrieved from Salesforce the moment you open the tab. The permission settings for your objects vary between 'visible', 'read-only' and 'forbidden', and you can change the visibility of a field or a profile, as well as filter them in the way that would work best for you. In case you would like to duplicate the settings for a group of fields or profiles, you can easily do so with the 'Batch apply' option.

sObjects Fields Inspector

sObjects Fields Inspector

Our Fields tab in the sObjects Editor provides a smart way to work with your object's fields - namely, to view and analyze the properties of an object, as well as to create the new fields quickly and with no effort.

sObjects Layouts Inspector

sObjects Layouts Inspector

Add the necessary fields to the specific layout in as much as a few clicks with our sObjects Layouts Inspector tab!

All of your object's fields will be displayed in the form of the table, with the rows standing for the fields, and the columns introducing the properties of each field. Thus, you will hate the data on the API Name, Field Label and Type. You are free to filter the fields by the types, configure the columns to only display the ones you need at the moment. Our sObjects Fields Inspector also provides you with the option to edit the fields' properties, as well as add new fields and save the changes.

Fields

This tab supplies you with all the necessary data on the distribution of your fields between the layouts. Similar to other tabs in the sObjects Inspector, this data is presented in the form of the table, in which the rows stand for fields in the current object file, and the columns stand for layouts, in which these fields are located. You can filter the fields or layouts, set their visibility status to 'Hidden', 'Edit', 'Required', or 'Read-only', and set the placement for the field. In addition, the sObjects Layouts Inspector can forward you to your org for editing the layout itself, and allows you to edit the XML file with the layout.
