To boost the power of The Welkin Suite IDE, we are constantly trying to integrate our tool with external services, so that the users won't have to switch between our IDE and the external applications.

Enrich the spectrum of custom possibilities in The Welkin Suite IDE by add third-party tools to the menu.

Our tool allows you to reach out to the developer community without being distracted from coding. In case you are struggling with some part of the code and would like to discuss your issue with other Salesforce developers, or if you have come up with the offbeat solution to some problem and would like to share your findings with other people to help them get through the similar development cases, you can tweet about it in just a few clicks. All you have to do is select the necessary part of the code, right-click and then choose '#askforce about the code' option in the context menu. Then you will get a window with a screenshot of the code, and a field in which you can enter the text of your tweet, with the predefined hashtags #askforce and #askwelkin already added. Get a response in no time!

Twitter integration option

Do you have a favorite development app that benefits your Salesforce development process when used along with our IDE? Would you like to avoid constantly switching between our tool and this app? If so, you are free to make it available from the Main Menu in The Welkin Suite IDE. Adding an external tool is quite a simple process, which only requires filling in a few fileds (Title, Command, Arguments and Initial Directory). You are also free to assign a custom hotkey to the tool you have added to call it immediately. By integrating your custom apps, you can not only save tons of time, but also pass the data about the project or the current file to the external tools as the arguments.
