Downloaded your IDE for a trial.  Is it possible to configure Object permissions for Profiles (Read, Create, Edit, Delete, View All, Modify All)?  FLS for Profiles was pretty obvious and I figured out how to set Object permissions for Permission Sets.

    Thanks

      Hi Wilson,

Thank you for contacting us with this question.

For now there is no such option to modify object permissions for Profiles, and we will add this to our backlog for the next releases, as we'll work on the Admin/Declarative functionality.

If you dont mind me asking you - how you'd prefer to configure this settings? From an admin panel or from the sObject editor (from the "object perspective") or you'd prefer it to be from the "profile perspective" so you'll see and configure all objects for a chosen profile? This will help us bringing the better experience for you :)

      Thank you,

      Vladimir

        Vladimir:

Thanks for the response.  I would say that the current grid approach for FLS is great.  Something similar would work well, so doing this in the sObject editor would probably be ideal (since that is where the FLS editor is).  Horizontally would be the profiles and vertically would be the object level permissions.  The UI would apply the same selection logic (e.g., autoselecting Read, when Create is selected) that the standard Salesforce UI (in Profiles) uses.  Being able to look across all the profiles is key.

Being able to somehow do it across multiple objects would be even better, but I don't see that solution in the sObject editor or the Admin panel.

        Thanks,

        Wilson

                Hi guys,

I hope you are doing well.

I'm happy to let you know that the current feature request is realized and now you can use the Objects Permissions Editor in TWS for Windows.

Also, this will be available in the next version of TWS for Mac which is coming soon.

If you have any questions on this functionality or any other suggestions, please let us know - we are always happy to hear them.

                Have a nice day!

                Regards,

                Kate
