    Hello,

i've been trying to get any sort of version control options to appear in TWS for Mac, to no avail. I've located a topic here: https://welkinsuite.com/blog/version-control-in-the-welkin-suite/ but my View menu in TWS on the Mac looks significantly different than what is shown in this aforementioned topic.

This directory is hooked up to Git; i have a .git directory on the same root/level as my .sfproj and .sfsln files which I assume are ones that got created by TWS. I can perform all Git operations via the command line while in this directory root, so that's not an issue. I had read elsewhere that TWS would "know" once a project was git-initialized (https://forum.welkinsuite.com/how-to-start-using-the-welkin-suite/git-support-for-existing-repository/) but I can't seem to get any built-in TWS version control/git menus to appear.

Can anyone shed some light on why I see such tutorial/blog discrepancies?

    Thanks in advance!

      Greetings,

Thank you for contacting us with this question.

The reason for the issue, which you are faced with, is that the Git support is implemented in The Welkin Suite for Windows.

We will add this functionality in one of the future versions of The Welkin Suite for Mac.

I will let you know about this.

As a side note, you can see if a feature is available on Windows or Mac version of TWS in its description on the Features page.

      Regards,

      Kate
