    Hello,

I've been working with the DX Project; Considering the lack of functionality this probably wasn't the best idea, but hey: early adaptor pain and all that :)

But I've been baffled by the lack of instructions on how to deploy one such project to production (or other sandbox). Can you explain to me how to do this? Or is this 'missing functionality' again?

    Thanks

      Hi Marco,

      Thank you for your post.

The ability to deploy to another organization is not yet implemented for Salesforce DX projects, and this is also present in our plans.

I will keep you updated when you will be able to use TWS UI to move your files to another org using the way as this is available for regular Salesforce projects in the IDE.

Right now, as a workaround, you can use the built-in Command Line to perform the deployment of your TWS DX project.

      Regards,

      Kate

Okay, so considering all other posts and the fact that you can't even deploy to production I can only come to the conclusion that your support for DX projects is in fact rather minimal and still under development. I'm a bit disappointed by this, but I will track the progress.

        Thanks for your responses.

          Hi Marco,

          Thank you for your post.

Our development of the support of Salesforce DX is in fact in progress and we are going to extend it in further versions of the IDE.

In most this depends on demands, and this is why currently we still are more concentrated on adding and improving functionality to regular Salesforce projects.

However, almost every next version of The Welkin Suite will include new abilities for your development in SFDX.

          Regards,

          Kate
