    In TWS, I added a new class.  The class immeidately appeared in my Salesforce sandbox instance.  I then added code to the class in TWS and did a Ctrl+S to save my changes.  But the changes did not appear in Salesforce.  The class there is still empty.

    How do I get the code from TWS to my Salesforce sandbox instance?  Please don't say I must use "Deploy to organization", as that does not work for me because TWS runs ALL test classes in my sandbox when I use "Deploy to organization" and some of the test classes fail because they will only run successfully in our Salesforce production instance.

       Problem solved.  A friend tipped me off that I need to build my solution or project and that will cause TWS to save the code changes to my Salesforce instance.

        Hi Bill,

        Thank you for contacting us with this questions and for your update.

        When you create or delete files in TWS project, these files are sent or removed to/from the server immediately.

        All the information about pulling and saving changes between your Salesforce Organization and your TWS project is described in TWS Documentation. Please feel free to use it.

        We will be happy to assist if you would have any other questions.

        Best Regards,

        Kate

            Hi Nando,

            Thank you for your question.

            Currently, you can use the 'CMD+K' hotkey for building your changes.

            We are going to improve the build options soon. In a frame of this, we consider implementing an additional setting which will allow you to use the 'CMD+S' hotkey for building process by default.

            Also, there is a workaround when you can assign the 'CMD+S' hotkey to the build operation, however, in this case, the 'CMD+S' will work for building always and when you are working on any file in your TWS and this won't work as saving option anywhere.

            You can manually assign the 'CMD+S' hotkey to the Build option. Please follow the next steps for this:

                1. please open the menu The Welkin Suite Blaze -> Preferences -> Environment -> Key Bindings;

                2. in the search field files type 'Save', select the command in the list, and click the 'Delete' button;

                3. after this, please find the 'Build' command and assign the necessary hotkey typing it in the 'Edit Binding' field, and then click the 'Apply' button.

            I want to draw your attention one more time that this is a workaround and it will affect whole the IDE for all your files and the hotkey won't work for saving anywhere.

            Please let me know if you would have any additional questions.

            Regards,

            Kate

                Hi David,

                Thank you for your post.

                Please find our updates on the build/deploy functionality here. As you can see there, we implemented the option to deploy on saving for a separate file.

                As for the Outlook integration with Salesforce, please check this article.

                Hope this is what you are looking for.

                Regards,

                Kate
