How can I tell TWS to not change list<> to List<> and not do other auto-capitalizing on keywords?

My old laptop (TWS since beta) had this but I've got a new install and can't figure out how to disable this setting.. It's fine on custom methods but I'd really rather it not do that on keywords. I'm admittedly overly OCD about formatting and such and this one is driving me nuts..

    TY!

      Hello Dave!

      Thank you for your question!

Could you please share a few examples (or even screenshots) when do you need to disable the auto-capitalizing in the Code Completion?

      Thanks and Regards,

In an apex file, if you type..

        set<string>

        ...it changes to...

        Set<String>

...as soon as you type the >. Set, list, map, string, integer, double, system, etc.. All of those will change case.

I find that if I clear out "Commit completion by typing following characters" in Tools \ Options -> Text Editor \ Code Assistance \ Apex, it will not automatically do this anymore but a ctrl-space to kick intellisense will still offer up a different cases. I can live with that but if there's a way to disable it changing case on built-in keywords, that'd be even nicer. Even if they're in a file somewhere that I can edit, that'd be fine.

           Hi Dave!

          Thank you for your answer!

Could you please follow the steps for this:

          1) Open the Options window (Tools -> Options).

          2) Go to Code Assistance.

          3) Remove 2 characters (<, >) from the "Commit completion by typing following characters" field.

          I hope it helps you.

          Regards,

          Ihor
