    I can't seem to use version control in the welkin suite. I followed the steps in (https://docs.welkinsuite.com/?id=windows:how_does_it_work:teamwork_and_version_control:git_support:how_to_start:start) and all I get is a blank version controll screen. what am I doing wrong?

      Hi,

      Thank you for your post and please sorry for the delay in our response.

      May I please clarify if you have executed all of these commands:
      cd \Users\UserName\Documents\The Welkin Suite\Projects\TestProject\TestProject
      git init
      git add --all
      git commit -m "Initial Commit"
      git branch -u origin/{trackingBranchName}

      Also, I kindly ask you to execute the command "git branch -u origin/{trackingBranchName}" for each branch that you have in your Git repository.

      If this doesn't help, please send us a bug report with attached log files directly from the IDE - you can find this functionality in the menu Help -> Report a Bug, please specify your email and enable the 'Attach Log File' checkbox.

      Looking forward to your response and hope this help.

      Thank you,

      Kate

        I think I executed all those properly but I'll create a new project and try your suggestion; I may have missed a step.

            Hi, I'm still having some trouble. I have a solution with 3 projects from different salesforce environments. I followed the steps above but when I tried to branch out the projects I got an error: "the requested branch 'origin/{ProjectInMySolution} does not exist. here's the order of commands I used:

            CD repository/{mysolution}

            git init

                 -Initialized empty Git repository...

            git add --all

            git commit -m "initial commit"

                 - ...files changed, ... insertions+ etc..

            git branch -u origin/{ProjectInMySolution}

                 -Error

              Hi,

              Thank you for your response.

              May I please ask you to check if the issue is reproduced when there is one project per solution?

              Also, please make sure that all your branches are present locally.

              Looking forward to your response.

              Thank you,

              Kate
