    Bloom R37 / 1.33.4.4.

When I change apex in TWS and there's an error in the code, the Error List tab doesn't contain any info. If I look in the Output tab, it shows the compile errors but not any any info about line numbers.

The weird thing is that if I manage to find the invalid line in the source editor, it does highlight that line with the red squiggle and if I hover over it, it does the tooltip with the error text.

This was working fine for a long time then started being weird in the last couple/few weeks. I remember this problem from a year or 2 ago but it went away and I don't remember how/why..

Any idea how to fix this?

edit: and in dev console and setup\apex classes, it still seems to behave as-expected.

      Hello Dave!

      Thank you for your post!

I kindly ask you to reproduce this one more time and please send us a bug report with attached log files directly from the IDE - you can find this functionality in the menu Help -> Report a Bug, please specify your email and enable the 'Attach Log File' checkbox.

This way we would receive your TWS log files which could help us to find a reason for this unexpected behavior.

      Thank you,

      Ihor

Thanks for the reply.. While trying to get you more info, I figured it out.

On the Error List panel, the bit where it says something like "1 Error" actually behaves like a checkbox. If you click it (which un-selects it) it disables showing errors and prevents F8 from working. If you don't realize it's a checkbox-line control, it can be difficult to figure out what's gone wrong. The fix, duh, is just to poke it again.

Totally my fault - I'm an idiot..
