Today I downloaded the bloom R1 update for windows and can not build/save lightning components anymore. When a bundle is opened with the new previewer feature, hitting f5 or saving does not appear to do anything after editing the code. Am I missing something here?

Hi Dan,
Thank you for contacting us with this issue.
May I please ask you to tell me which files you have edited from your Lightning bundle? Also, can you please check which files are present in the 'Pending changes' panel after you have edited your Lightning files?
One more question is the next: I kindly ask you to open the Output panel in your TWS UI - you can open it from the menu View -> Output; is there any message when you click F5?
Also, can you please tell me if you made some changes which should affect the UI of the application which is present on the previewer or there were changes related to backend?
Thank you,
Kate

Yes I am editing the .cmp file of the component bundle. I make a change and a '*' appears next to the file name indicating a change was made, but saving/building does not do anything. There is nothing listed in the Pending Changes. If I attempt to build it tells me there are no changes to build. I have attached some screenshots.

Hi Dan,
Thank you for your response.
Looks like the reason for the issue when the changed files are absent in the Pending changes list and they are not included to the build is that they are not saved automatically at the beginning of building.
I kindly ask you to reproduce the issue one more time and right after this please send us a bug report directly from the IDE. You can find this option in the menu Help -> Report a Bug. This way we will receive your TWS logs and they will help us to find the reason why files cannot be saved automatically.
After this, please save manually a file after editing it, for example, using the 'Ctrl+S' hotkey and start building. Also, one of the possible workarounds is to follow the next steps: please open the menu Build -> Build Selection.
Please let us know if these steps help you to solve the issue.
Thank you,
Kate
