    Hi,

I'm trying to evaluate Welkin Suite for our org and am working with the demo version. I tried to use it for deployments and noticed something weird. Here's how you can reproduce this:

Let's say we have 3 org, A, B and C and let's say A, B are full copy sandboxes and C is production org.

    • I created a project from org A.
    • I tried to deploy the changes from org A to org B and used the deep comparison tool. During this comparison, the local file has code from A and the remote file has code from B.
    • I cancel the deployment.
    • I tried to deploy the changes from org A to org C and used the deep comparison tool. During this comparison, the local file has code from A but the remote file has code from B instead of C

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I'm using a Macbook.

    Thanks.

      Hi Jothin,

Thank you for contacting us on this issue and for bringing this to our attention.

We will investigate this issue and I will be back to your the nearest days to let you know about our results on this or, probably, with some additional questions.

If you don't mind me asking, can I clarify just one thing right now:

did you cancel your first deployment process using the 'Close' or 'Cancel' button or did you click the 'Back' button?

This information will be helpful for us for reproducing the issue.

If you have any other questions please let us know - we'll be happy to answer them.

      Best Regards,

      Kate

After the first comparision, I clicked the "Back" button and updated the login credentials.

I even tried restarting TWS but the remote code is still showing up from B instead of C.

        Thank you.

            Hi Jothin,

I hope you are doing well.

We have reproduced the issue, and unfortunately, there is no workaround for this right now.

We will fix this issue in one of the nearest versions of the IDE.

I will keep you updated when we solve the issue and you would be able to use the comparison function.

Thank you one more time for bringing this to our attention.

            Regards,

            Kate

So you can update your TWS navigating to the menu The Welkin Suite Blaze -> Check for Updates.

Please let me know if the issue is reproduced on the updated version of the IDE, or if you have any other questions.

              Have a nice day.

              Regards,

              Kate
