    Hi there,

We are in the process of performing a POC for Welkin Suite and Copado integration. We have a user story created and have selected "Start Tracking Changes" in the Copado Task panel. However, it doesn't seem to be tracking any changes at all. When I click "Show differences" or "Commit" nothing comes back and simply states "There are no changes from start point".

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

      Hi Matthew,

Thank you for contacting us on this.

We have started to investigate the issue which you are faced with.

May I please ask you to provide me with the following information?

      1. What types of metadata do you work on?
      2. If you use Lightning, can you please check if edited aura files appear in the list when you click the 'Show difference' button?
      3. I kindly ask you to reproduce the issue and please send us a bug report with attached log files - please find this functionality in the menu Help -> Report a Bug, please specify your email and enable the 'Attach Log File' checkbox.

Looking forward to your response and we would be happy to assist.

      Thank you,

      Kate

         Hi Kate,

        1) I tried doing the track changes/commit with an Apex class, a test class, and a trigger.. Nothing came up.

        2) Was not using Lightning.

        3) Sending the bug report now.

Thanks for your help! I've submitted the bug report:

          Hi Matthew,

Thank you for your quick response and for the bug report.

Our developers are investigating a reason for the issue and analyzing your TWS log files.

Meantime, if you don't mind me asking, can you please check the following scenario regarding the Lightning files?

          1. Please make any changes in an aura file, save them locally (by Ctrl+S).
          2. Please check if the changed file appear in the list when you click 'Show difference' after this?

          Thank you,

          Kate

             HI Katie,

I created a new Lightning Component and all of the files did show up under the changes. It seems triggers, classes, etc are not.

              Hi Matthew,

              Thank you for your response!

Looks like we found a core of the issue - the tracking changes functionality works for some types of files and doesn't work for other ones.

I've added this issue to our backlog and we will work on solving this issue as soon as possible.

I'll keep you updated on our progress on this.

If you have any other questions, please let us know -we'll be happy to answer them.

              Have a nice day!

              Regards,

              Kate

                  Hi Matthew,

                  Thank you for your post.

We are working on planning for the development for the nearest several months, and we will try to include the work on this issue into the scope of this plan.
We understand that the issue blocks the work on the built-in Copado functionality, so we will do our best to solve this as soon as possible, however, right now I cannot tell you when exactly this would be done.

I will keep you updated on our progress on this.

                  Regards,

                  Kate
