    Hi,

I just tried to pull from Salesforce on my existing project, and I'm getting an error message saying that the changes couldn't be downloaded.

It gives the possible reasons as "Problems with internet connection" or "Maintenance works at Salesforce". I tried creating a new project with the same instance and it worked fine, so I don't think there's actually a connection issue. I don't know if there's a bug in the pull process, so I wanted to bring it to your attention.

    Thanks,

    Mark

I'm receiving the same error after trying to retrieve all files. I reported it through the Send Bug Report option in Welkin to include the activity log.

Same here. Just after downloading metadata.

I tried to download only pages, but the problem persists. The error pops up immediately, like it even did not try to connect.

        Here is error message:

          Hi Guys,

Thanks for reporting this issue and please sorry for inconvenience it caused.

There was a critical issue in pull functionality which we've already fixed and it will be included in the next release which will happen this Friday (April 9th) or next Tuesday (April 14th).

Regarding the last issue from wsmaga we'll investigate it further in order to determine if it was the same one that we've fixed or if it requires additional fixes.

Thank you for reporting this issues and helping us become better and more stable.

          Thanks,

          Vladimir

            Hi Guys,

Thanks for waiting for a fix - we've just released version 0.16.1.4 with multiple fixes for Pull functionality which hopefully will resolve all your problems (at least we were not able to reproduce any issues with Pull).

Please let me know if this helps or if you'll have any other issues.

            Thanks,

            Vladimir

              Hi Vladamir,

Unfortunatly this has not solved the problem for me. I see all classes, triggers and pages in the retrieval window, but after pressing the retrieve button it tries for a moment and gives me the same error. Perhaps my issue is not the same as Mark. Included are some screenshots and the XML with the error:

I tried doing it through Wifi and with a connected cable. I turned off my Firewall and I ran Welkin Suite as an Administrator. Nothing changed. This happens on both my Laptop and on my Desktop on two different locations. It also happens on our Development (latest version) org and our Patch Org.

Do we require some settings on the Org itself perhaps? Some Api Access settings?

The only version that is working for me so far (and which I saved the installer for, because even that version is better then Eclipse!) is 13.5

                    Hi Guys,

We have released one more fix update (version 0.16.2.4) which addresses 2 issues with pulling and creating projects:

                    • Failures on PC's with locale settings that use decimal comma
                    • Rare failures caused by specific static resources on the org

Additionally we've improved logging for creation and pull processes so we'll be able to determine issues faster if required again.

Please let me know if this release helps you or if there are other issues available.

                    Thanks,

                    Vladimir

Awesome Vladimir. It seems the new version (16.2) is working like a charm. I will be using this as my fulltime IDE for now. But seeing as how the old version was already awesome, this one will probably be even better!

At last it works :) I'm from PL, so decimal comma-dot thing was my problem probably.

Glad to hear this! Hopefully we've fixed all issues with project pull at the moment.

I'm closing this topic as fixed.

                            Thanks,
