JS syntax highlighting doesn't work in VF pages

    I have JS embedded in a VF page inside a <script> tag, and the VF editor doesn't appear to know that it's JS (see attached screen shot). If you try to add new JS you don't get any highlighting or intellisense, it's just treating it as plain text.


    The CSS syntax highlighting appears to work fine.

      Hi ndrees!
       
      Currently TWS doesn’t support JS highlighting in the VF editor. This functionality will be released together with implementation of Lightning components support within the next 1-2 month. 
      We will let you know once we start working directly on this feature and once it'll be released.
