The active session for the IDE can be run on one device. This is why when you log in on another device, the previous session becomes inactive and you should log in again.

This is how the tracking mechanism is implemented.

We will consider implementing the option for easy re-login.

At the moment we do not have updates on the situation you've mentioned. We are not able to allow simultaneous work with TWS on multiple devices at the same time.

Taking this into account, we have to track such kind of usage and take appropriate measures to avoid such usage.

At the same time, we do not see good ways how we can make life easier for those who respect the usage limitations while keeping ourself safe from any misuse.

But I'd want to ensure you, that we do not ignore such cases and we keep them in mind while working on licensing functionality.

I don't work at 2 systems at the same time. It is either the laptop or the desktop. I switch a lot depending if I work at home or on site.

I understand your case, and, of course, not saying that you're using TWS on 2 devices at the same time :)

As I've posted earlier, we won't be able to do any significant changes in the approach in the nearest months, however, we'll think about ways how we can make your (and other users) life easier in such scenarios.

Hi Kate,

one way to make life easier to people who respect the policy is to remember credentials on the login prompt, so that we don't have to fully enter them again and again.
