    Hi all,

I have found a bug when I update the last version of a file that i have been changing before do pull in my MAC version.

    I followed these steps:

1.- I edit the file without pull from SF.

2.- I try to save and compile solution and the message "Need to pull first is showed". OK,

3.- I do pull and the message 'File is updated successfully'. (It's not true)

4.- I go to my salesforce console and the file is different. I clearly see that the file in dev console is the last updated version.

5.- Welkin is not updating my local file and it's laying me.

    Thank you.

      Hi Alberto,

Thank you for contacting us with this information.

May I please clarify with you some additional information so that our developers could find the reason for the issue?

           1. Can you please tell me which files you are working on: classes, pages, Lightning files, etc.?

           2. Can you please check which files are present in the Pending Changes panel? Are there all the files which you have edited? (You can open the 'Pending Changes' panel from the menu View)

           3. May I please ask you to check if the file that is listed on the last stage (in the results) of the pull process, in the Pull wizard, is the same that is different in your TWS project and in Developer Console? Is this the file that you have edited?

Also, can you please tell me if the issue is reproduced on a new TWS project related to the same Salesforce Organization?

Our developers are investigating the reason for the issue, and any additional information from you would be very helpful.

      Thank you,

      Kate

I have the same issue.  Basically, if I have an apex class that I have changed locally, I cannot pull and overwrite it from my sandbox.  In one situation, I had to create a new project.  In another situation, I manually merged the classes to match.

          Hi John,

          Thank you for your post.

May I please clarify with if you get any errors when you build the same changed file?

Also, may I please ask you to tell me if you want to overwrite your local changes in the file with remote ones which were made on your Organization or you want to revert your file to a previous stage without your local changes?

In the case when you want to get the latest version that you have pulled from your Salesforce Organization without your current local changes, you can use one of the next workarounds:

               - you can open the Pending Changes panel (from the View menu) and discard all your changes that were done after pulling of previous building the necessary file;

               - you can use the Local History functionality to restore a file to any version.

If you didn't get the option to overwrite the file pulling new changes from Salesforce, please send us a bug report directly from the IDE - this option is present in the menu Help -> Report a Bug, please describe your steps, enable the 'Attach Log File' checkbox, and put your email for our response. This way we will receive your TWS logs which will help us to find a reason for the issue.

          Thank you,

          Kate
