Anyone else have issues with the error highlighting showing errors all over the apex class after a few save/builds? I have to close TWS and reopen to get it to reset. It shows EOF errors all over the place in addition to other error highlights on random lines... Builds complete with no errors and it's just really annoying.

Hi Evan,
Thank you for contacting us with this issue.
I kindly ask you to send us a bug report directly from the IDE after the issue would be reproduced the next time - please find this option in the menu Help -> Report a bug, please put your email and enable the 'Attach Log File' check-box. This way we will receive your TWS log files that could help us in our investigation.
Also, may I please ask you to share a screenshot when the issue occurs and please tell me what is an average size of a file where this happens.
Thank you,
Kate

Hi Evan,
Thank you for the additional details and for your bug report.
There are two possible reasons for this issue:
- there can be a disturbance of formatting in the file, for example, imbalance of brackets;
- also, this can be a construction that the IDE doesn't handle properly.
Both these reasons lead to such results as an 'Initializer' in the list of vars/methods, or even improper parsing of the file - we can see that under 108 row there is an absent code outlining.
May I please ask you to check if there are some specific code constructions in this file and if the same/similar constructions are present in other files - is the issue reproduced for those files? If some of such constructions exist, we would greatly appreciate if you could share details about them with us so that we could cover this case.
As for syntax highlighting in general, this functionality is under its development and we are going to improve it. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Currently, to avoid the highlighting issues, you can disable the option in the menu Tools -> Options -> Text editor -> Code Assistance -> Apex, in the section 'Other Settings' you can find 'Show Syntax Errors' and disable it.
Thank you,
Kate

The one common item on a lot of my classes that have this issue is there isn't a constructor, not sure if that would produce this issue.

Hi Evan,
Thank you for your response.
This can be caused not by a constructor only but by any other part of a code.
Anyway, we will investigate such behavior and our developers will work on solving this issue.
If you would have any other questions or suggestions - please let us know. We always are happy to hear your feedback and assist.
Best regards,
Kate
