Hi,
Thank you for your contacting us with this information.
May I please clarify with you which way do you use for the opening of the 'Find In Files' menu?
Is this in the standard panel inside TWS or do you use the next way: Main Menu -> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Find in Files ?
Have you used the 'Ctrl+Shift+F' shortcut?
Your answer will help us to reproduce this issue.
Thank you for your feedback about the TWS profiler.
Thank you,
Kate

It hasn't been working on my install since I upgraded to the latest version of Welkin.
However, I just created a new Solution file, added my Org, and now, everything seems to be working as normal.
I can't get it to fail anymore.
Thanks.

Hi Kate,
I can reproduce this problem. No matter if this project is setup with version 0.29.10.4 or older.
Find and Replace doesn't open and shortcut even doesn't work.
No reaction for shortcut or clicked menu item.
Regards,
Chris

For me this still doesn't work. Described workaround also doesn't work. It maybe has something to do with working with external monitors since I remember having this work couple of times when I was only with one (main, laptop) monitor.
This is one of the reasons why I still have to work with TWS and Eclipse at the same time :(
Edit: my current version is 0.30.11.4

Hi Tomic,
Thank you for the update on this topic from you.
May I please ask you to check if the 'Find in files' window appears under all the opened windows on another monitor?
We have the issue when some TWS windows appear on another monitor, but not on that where the IDE is opened . Looks like exactly this causes the issue you are faced with.
Our developers will continue the investigation of this issue.

Kate

No, it doesn't appear anywhere. I have just tried again couple of times. However, search is defenitelly there because when I press ctrl+shift+f, current UI component looses its fokus and if I type something on blind and press enter I get results :). It is a weird thing.

Hi Tomic,
Thank you for your response.
I kindly ask you to check if the issue is reproduced when you are working with different files, for example, classes, Anonymous Apex files, or Salesforce Logs, etc.
Probably this issue is caused by the editors.
Anyway, we will continue to investigate this issue, and I'll contact you when we will have any results for this.
Thank you,
Kate
