We don't have the special editor for the markdown. But anyway, you could open the file with .md extension via menu (File -> Open) and try to review or edit it.

Hi Ihor,

I can (and do) edit the markdown files using the standard editor, but I have no idea what the output is going to look like when I can done (did I get the markdown right??), so I am really just looking for a built in way to see how the file would be rendered (split screen with the editor on the left and the preview on the right for example). This is possible in Visual Code with an extension, so I assume you could do something similar.
