Hey Guys,  Can you have a checkbox for storing the username, password, and token for a given project\solution.   I shouldn't have to put that in every time I need to deploy.  Eclipse has this feature.

      Hi Robert.

      Thank you for your post.

Our team plans to implement the credentials manager in TWS.

The credentials for the 'Deploy to organization' process will be stored this way.

At the moment I cannot tell you when exactly we will be able to implement this.

I’ll keep you updated about it.

      Thank you,

      Kate

        Hi guys,

Any idea if this feature wil be really implemented in future versions?

I think it would be very useful.

        Thanks in advance!

          Hi Alexander,

          Thank you for your question.

We keep this in our backlog and we really want to add this functionality to the IDE. So we will work on this in the future.

Already now, you can avoid specifying credentials if you have several projects in your solution and you need to deploy files from one of these projects to an organization that is related to another project. (Currently, this applies to the Windows version of the IDE, and this will be available in TWS for Mac when we will implement the multiple-projects support).

So, in the case when you have several projects in your TWS solution, you can select the 'Use organization from the project' option and the IDE will connect to the necessary organization without a necessity to enter your login, password, and security token (if this is necessary).

I hope this would help, and I will keep you updated when we will add a Credentials manager in TWS.

          Regards,

          Kate
