Is there a way to run tests as a specific user?

      Hi sturev,

      Thank you for this question.

There is no such option in The Welkin Suite as Salesforce does not provide anything similar. The only way to execute unit tests as a specific user is to use the runAs method directly in your test's code.

You can find some additional related info in the Salesforce's Success Community in a related thread.

      Thank you,

      Vladimir

Thanks Vladimir, I figured that might be the case. frown  Is there an option to run tests synchronous as opposed to in parallel?

          Hi sturev,

As for now there is no way to configure this behavior from the IDE but we'll add this improvement to our backlog.

You can configure this from the Salesforce UI (in Lightning: Setup -> Custom Code -> Apex Test Execution, select "Options..." and check the "Disable Parallel Apex Testing" checkbox).

          Hope this helps.

          Best regards,

          Vladimir
